As I said on another on of my pages( On the Unicorn Apocalypse: Book 1 ), I have thought about a second Unicorn Apocalypse book. Below are some of my ideas.
Idea 1: After the humans retreat to space because of the apocalypse, they stay there. I would have the story take place approximately 200 years after. The government of the space colony( once the Earth ) would have already sent down probes to check the safety of the Earth, but they would all lose connection and never return. They equip a group of 60 soldiers( three score ) with the latest technology and send them down to Earth. What they find is incredible. The unicorns have turned the Earth into a complete paradise. Or so they think. Their ship is quickly destroyed and they realize that, though the unicorns can thrive in this area, they cannot. There would be new animals, new plants, and less resources.
Plants/features: There would be no water other than the water that comes in quick downpours. Instead of rivers of water, they held molten gold. If you touched that gold, first it would burn you and then it would solidify around you, immobilizing you. Along the banks of the rivers, there would be beautiful vines with near-invisible thorns that wrapped around you and crawled up your body. The vines would then drop you into the river to be killed. There should be some giant Venus fly-traps that ensnare you and eat you. There should also be some plants that hypnotize you so you walk into other deadly plants. If you have any more ideas, comment.
Animals: There would be the unicorns obviously. They would be about five feet tall, muscular, and either white or black. There would be pearly white or pitch black wings on there back that fold down when not in use and there would be a four foot long horn sticking out of their forehead, almost doubling their height. I would put in butterflies that swarm you and drink you blood, tropical fish with razor-sharp teeth that can leap out of the water and crawl on land, and I would have beautiful birds that would attack you with their claws and beaks. I am obviously still trying to develop some other animals and will inform you if I have any good ideas.
Idea 2: This book would take place about ten years after the invasion. In this book, the unicorns would gain amazing intelligence from all the knowledge left on Earth when the remaining humans retreated. They would already know that, due to the apocalypse, the humans numbers are dwindling and would use that to their advantage. The unicorns had gained a love for human blood and are hungry for more. They would use their powers and knowledge to fly into space. Once they were there, they would begin to invade the human space station. That is when the war would begin.
